Materials I Use
My woodburnings are created on all wood canvas or lumber pieces from different types of wood, thickness and size.
The size of each piece is listed in the gallery under each photo
Some of my woodburnings have decoupage art added to them.
Decoupage is the art of decorating using pieces of cut out paper
A bit of history
Wood burning art (Pyrography) is created by using a soldering iron or pen with a heated metallic tip.
It is literally "drawing with fire"
Besides wood, leather and gourd surfaces may also be used.
I have always been involved in various types of art, and have been doing pyrography for three years now.

My main interest is nature and wildlife. I also enjoy traditional Asian art, Celtic knotwork and Tattoo art.
